When an order enters "Complete" status, it has left our building and entered the domain of the postal service. Once there, inactive tracking numbers usually mean one of the following:
- The order has yet to be processed by the postal service. This will often occur for several hours after your order is marked "Complete" and your shipping notice is sent. We recommend waiting until the next day to check for activity with your tracking number.
- The order is making a big jump from location to location; e.g. it is on a plane going from within the US to somewhere far away, which prevents more regular updates until it arrives for its next scan.
- The order came from a subscription, in which case the order will ship just in advance of the US release date to arrive on release day for nearly all domestic subscribers.
If a week or more has passed with no tracking update, your package may be lost.
